According to the appearance and feel, there are many plastics, and the main components of the base can be known at a glance. Therefore, the appearance is also very important.
PE (Polyethylene):
Sensory identification: soft touch: white and transparent, but the transparency is average, often with tape and printed characters. (Note: Adhesive tape and printed characters are inevitable, but their content must be controlled, because these will affect the price in the market)
When it is not colored, it is milky white translucent, waxy; the product has a slippery feel when touched by hand, flexible and tough; slightly stretchable. Generally, low-density polyethylene is softer and has better transparency; high-density polyethylene is harder.
PP (polypropylene):
Sensory identification: This product is white and transparent. Compared with LDPE, it has higher transparency and has a sound when rubbed.
When uncolored, it is white translucent, waxy; lighter than polyethylene. Transparency is also better than polyethylene and harder than polyethylene.
PET(Polyethylene terephthalate):
The transparency is very good, the strength and toughness are better than polystyrene and polyvinyl chloride, and it is not easy to break. White and transparent, the hand feels harder, and there is sound when rubbing. It looks like PP.
